The University of Gloucestershire is primarily based in Gloucester, England and has a total of five campuses - 3 in Gloucester itself, 1 in Cheltenham and 1 in London. The University of Gloucestershire roots date back to 1834, however the university has emerged today as a result of a number of merges between a few schools. The school tooks its current name in 2001 when it was awarded University status.
