Its good to see such a great Study in Uk blog. And this blog information is very informative. Yes weather is very difficult in Glasgow.

@ Mikaela >>> Thank you for your question. Mikaela welcome to England. Yes you can arrange a English test. Make a preparation for IELTS exam. It would be great if you do it. Or you can do any other Normal English course as well.

You want to convert your swedish study to Uk study for that you have to contact with your institution, where you want to study. Even I have a blog you can take look >>> http://www.thelondonstudy.com

Thank You

Hi, my name is Mikaela Christensen.
I am 21 years old and I'm from Sweden. Im planning to study here in England next year, and I realised I have to take an english test of some sort before I can start studying. Is this the CAE test?
I was also wondering weather you know anywhere I can go to convert my swedish grades into the english system?
I would be thankful for your help!

I spent christmas in Glasgow a couple of years back, the streets were packed then.

I guess my favourite place was the Cineworld tower in town, you can see for miles from the top floor! Almost more interesting then the film!

We've put together a video for the UKBA about student visa application requirements. Do you know anyone who may find it useful? If so, please pass it on :-)

Hi

I am an American Citizen participating in a summer study program in a few weeks in London.
I will have a bank statement from the day before I arrive in London and also for the past month - showing my deposit. I realize the immigration requirement for Student Visitors is to have funds equivalent to 500 pounds per month of stay. I am staying for two months = that equates 1000 pounds = 1650 dollars. My account 28 days before my entry shows a balance of about 1,300 - 1400 dollars. My subsequent deposits of 1,500 and 3,000 dollars each were made less than 28 days before my arrival (17 days before in the case of the first, 11 days in the case of the latter)

Will I be denied entry for this? I don't know what your experiences were with the immigration - how strict they were etc. I am kind of freaking out right now that I will be sent back... so anything would be great.
